After a lot of hard work, sweat, but NO tears, our flip house is complete!  Luckily, this home was only in need of some cosmetic repairs and updates.  One of the most difficult challenges in renovating a property, is finding the right one.  We knew that this charming home could have great results with the right improvements.  Here are the before and after pictures of some of the largest projects.

The master bathroom tub definitely needed a major facelift.  After replacing the damaged, dirty tiles and resurfacing the tub, it looks like a different bathtub.

To update the master vanity, we replaced the outdated “seashell” sinks with new white drop-in sinks, hardware, and a new tile counter top.  The new mirror and light fixture also contributed to a fresh, new look.

In the kitchen, the laminate counter top was replaced with granite and a white tile back splash gave the black cabinets a nice contrast.

When we initially viewed the home, the living, dining, and master bedroom flooring was stripped down to the concrete.  The new wood flooring in the living, dining, hallway, and kitchen really updated the look of the home.

New carpet was installed in all of the bedrooms.  The entire interior of the home received a fresh coat of paint.  Another minor, yet important improvement was replacing any outdated ceiling fans and all of the doorknobs in the home.  Updated, consistent hardware, instead of mismatched knobs can make more of a difference than one might think.

Lastly, landscaping the front yard and painting the front door gave this home the curb appeal that we knew it could have. Adding greenery can add a welcoming warmth to the exterior of a home.

Despite the time and hard work, we love a good challenge and another flip house may be in our future.
